May 13, 2004 was the day of my diagnosis. Today we celebrate
Nicole Taylor
Nicole's 12 year Cancerversary
Here is a fun way to support me and YSC! I've made an exciting commitment to become a YSC Champion with my campaign:
Nicole's 12 year Cancerversary.
12 YEARS!!! I know it seems clique to say, but 12 years ago I didn't think I would be celebrating my 46 Birthday last month. I didn't think I'd be here to take my daughter on college tours and watch my son master the trumpet and dedicate himself to 6 years of practicing Aikido. To watch my husband build his union electrical business and succeed 10 years later. Every one is truly a gift to me, and not something I ever take for granted.
As we get older, birthday presents aren't needed as much, but they are a milestone of growth in your life. This year instead of my birthday, would you consider giving a donation to YSC? Where I have worked and volunteered with for a decade? Any amount big or small helps!
The money I raise will go to support Young Survival Coalition (YSC), the premier non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and educating young women affected by breast cancer. Each year, more than 13,000 young women 40 and under are diagnosed with breast cancer. I am making the commitment to help raise money to support these women, so they can face breast cancer feeling connected & empowered.
I know I can do it with donations from people like you. How will your contribution help?
$25 could fund YSC materials at three healthcare providers’ offices.
$100 could provide a Newly Diagnosed Navigator to six women when they need it most.
$250 could allow us to train four survivors to serve as peer supporters.
$500 could fund a Young Empowered Survivor (YES) educational program.
$1,200 could pay for two women to travel to our annual conference for young women affected by breast cancer.
Thank you, in advance, for your support. I truly appreciate your generosity and honor of my 12th Year Cancerversary. It will indeed help young survivors now and in the future.
