Bianchi bikes for cancer survivors

Jenna D'amico

As a Bianchi Dama Ambassador, I have committed to raise funds for the YSC Tour de Pink Survivor Bike Program, which provides bikes free of charge to young adults facing breast cancer.

Your donation will go directly to funding a bike for a young breast cancer survivor, enabling them to participate in a Tour de Pink ride this October 2020.

Tour de Pink (TdP) is a three-day, 200 mile bike ride that raises funds for Young Survival Coalition (YSC) and young adults affected by breast cancer nationwide. Read more at Approximately 30% of participants at each TdP ride are breast cancer survivors, and Tour de Pink is more than just a ride for them, it’s an empowering experience to reconnect with their bodies after cancer treatment.

Young breast cancer survivors often face economic hardship because of lack of access to comprehensive health insurance as well as steep medical costs associated with a breast cancer diagnosis. Young survivors are often burdened by student loan debt, are less established in their careers, and lack savings.

All of these challenges result in economic hardship that can prevent a young woman from being able to buy a bike to ride in Tour de Pink.

Established in 1998, Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the largest nonprofit dedicated exclusively to young adults diagnosed with breast cancer age 40 and under and their co-survivor support networks. YSC also educates and influences the medical, research and legislative communities to address breast cancer in young adults.
Through educational resources and programming, annual conferences, and local and online support networks, YSC ensures no young adult faces breast cancer alone. For more information, visit

You can view YSC’s audited financials and annual reports online here:

Each year, more than 13,000 young women 40 and under are diagnosed with breast cancer. I am making the commitment to help raise money to support these women, so they can face breast cancer feeling empowered.
